Through a partnership with Canyonlands Field Institute, The NOLS Wilderness Medicine Institute offers this course for a recertification for Wilderness first responder (WFR) and Wilderness advanced first aid (WAFA) licenses. This course may also be used to recertify the wilderness portion of a Wilderness EMT.

To be eligible for recertification you must possess a current (unexpired) WFR certification from a provider whose WFR course is a minimum of 70 hours.

The course takes place at the Moab Valley Inn. Food or accommodations are not included within course fee.
